Re: Vegan
Everyone watches too much MTV and kerrang, it's a shame really.
Any way back to the question, I remember Jack saying to me and my mate (bootlegger's son) that him and Nathan are dying for some bangers and mash (for americans, bangers are sausages) Hopefully they can elaborate on this, I remember reading somewhere he's been veggie for 10 years and vegan for 3? I'm not entirely sure, it may be seven years.

Re: Vegan
Bangers are sausages in the UK as well.. infact I think bangers & mash is a cockney saying.. I could be mistaken.
Re: Vegan
Oh duh.. just realised what you meant '(for americans, bangers are sausages)'.. I thought you meant bangers means sausages in america, but you were translating it FOR the americans.

Re: Vegan
Is it weird that I've been veggie for 6 years, and I NEVER crave meat. I eat sushi and cheese still. I wish I could give them up, but i just can't. ha. I eat soy meat a lot though, so maybe that's why.

Re: Vegan
Ya there are different stages of vegetarianism:
Some eat no red meat, some eat not animals that walk on land, some eat no animals at all that are above the surface of water, and some eat no meat at all. Then there are vegans who eat no animal by products which I'm sure you all know.

Re: Vegan
Yeah they call it pescetarianism I think. I used to eat all kinds of fish growing up because I live by the north sea and there are hundreds of fishing villages along the coast, and I know a lot of people who fish straight from rivers so they only catch really fresh healthy fish. I think if I went back to eating meat I'd try to only eat stuff like that, where you know it's lived healthily and in a clean environment
Re: Vegan
Ya but that defeats the purpose to a lot of veggies/vegans: you still killing animals.

Re: Vegan
I think what Lori is trying to say is, if she for some reason, had to go back to eating meat due to reason other than having a dying urge to sink her teeth into a big mac i.e health etc then she would choose the healthiest meat diet as opposed to a sloppy bacon sandwich or regurgatated (spelling?) chicken nuggets, I'm probabaly wrong and this makes no sense at all haha.
Re: Vegan
I grew up in the southern united states and the main course to every meal is meat and I really like how flavorful food is in that region. That's why I have such a hard time cutting meat from my diet. It's like drugs for me. I need to go to meat rehab or something because I love animals and being healthy. It's just that goddamn itch for meat.
